Whitstable
Whitstable is a sea side town on the north east coast of Kent, five miles north of Canterbury.
The town is famous for it’s oysters and hosts the Annual Whistable Oyster Festival in July. The town has shingle/sandy beaches flanking the harbour.
A notable feature of Whitstable is The Street, a natural strip of shingle on clay bank which runs out to sea at right angles to the coast, and is revealed only at low tide.
